Jennifer Frieswick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with caregivers and individuals living with dementia. Jennifer earned her Undergraduate and Graduate degrees, as well as a Certificate in Gerontology, from the School of Social Work at the University of Missouri – St Louis. She had the opportunity to complete her internships for both of those degrees at the Alzheimer’s Association. Throughout her career she has served in a variety of elder care capacities: Adult Day Care, Hospice, Home Healthcare, providing Care Consultations for the Alzheimer’s Association, and facilitating Caregiver Support Groups. Over the past three years Jennifer has been able to incorporate this knowledge and experience into a private practice that counsels individuals who have found themselves in the role of caring for a loved one who is living with dementia or those who are newly diagnosed with dementia.
I host a monthly support program – called Connections – for individuals who have been diagnosed with early-onset dementia (dx under the age of 65).
I have also been trained in facilitating a brain-engaging program called Memory Keepers; which utilizes evidence-based Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) to help improve mood, memory, thinking skills, and overall quality of life for early to advanced stages of dementia. I provide this service one-on-one, as well as facilitate a bi-monthly Memory Keepers group at my office.

Space and GraceSPACE AND GRACE tm is a 6-week, virtual support program for unpaid family caregivers who are caring for a loved one with a chronic condition, cognitive disease or terminal illness. The program is designed to build resilience, alleviate stress, foster a community of practice and provide practical tools to enhance care across the continuum.  We make sure those who feel invisible, feel fully seen and heard.
