To reimagine a typical support group, we created a gathering for caregivers and their companions with memory loss. These events:

  • Free for caregivers and their loved ones with memory loss.
  • We do not supply transportation.
  • Registration is required to keep numbers low and stress-free.
  • Most, but not all, events have free food for participants.
  • Most, but not all, events have an educational component.
  • We encourage people with dementia and their caregivers to engage with others in their community.
  • Fight isolation and improve socialization.
  • We encourage caregivers to meet other caregivers and learn resources and tricks from others on a similar journey.
  • A chance to make lasting memories with your loved ones.

The Caregiver Club® is excited to partner with local St. Louis businesses and organizations to offer these outings. These events are a small group setting for both individuals to feel supported and comfortable. We are proud to partner with:

  • The St. Louis Zoo
  • The Missouri Botanical Gardens
  • The St. Louis Art Museum
  • The St. Louis History Museum
  • Grant’s Farm
  • Artfully Aging
  • Artist First
  • Time for Dinner
  • Salt and Smoke
  • The Women’s Exchange
  • The YMCA of Wildwood

Our caregivers and their spouses were treated to a night out with no concern of improper dementia behaviors being judged, as there were no other diners in the restaurant. We were served gracefully by young girls who did an exceptional job. This was a fun night out for these couples at a time when enjoyable social experiences together were rare. Thank you for a memorable evening.”
